Maria Tregubova

Graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Art in memory of 1905 and the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (set design department, D. Krymov's workshop).

Since 2008 — chief artist of the D. Krymov Laboratory (theater “School of Dramatic Art”). Author of scenography and costumes for the Laboratory's performances «Gorki-10», “In Paris” and (together with the Baryshnikov Art Center), “Katya, Sonya, Polya, Galya”, “Tararabumbia”, “Opus № 7” (“Shostakovich“, „Trading” (together with V. Martynova), “Cow” (together with V. Martynova and E. Ioshpa).

As an artist and actress, she participated in the performances “Innuendos”, “Demon. View from above","Sir Vantes. Donky Hot.

Designed dozens of performances in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Dusseldorf, Helsinki, Odessa, Nizhny Novgorod. Among them – “Alice“ (BDT, St. Petersburg), „Process” and “Drunk” (Dusseldorf Drama Theatre, Germany), “Faryatiev’s Fantasies” (“P. Fomenko’s Workshop”), “Flowers for Algernon” (RAMT), “Your Gogol” (Alexandrinsky Theatre, St. Petersburg), opera “Golden“ (co-authored with V. Martynova, especially for the Golden Mask festival), “House“ and “City“ (School of Contemporary Play), “Drunks”, „Dreamworks* *A Dream Come True” (together with A. Tregubov), „Mephisto” and „Seryozha” (Moscow Art Theatre named after A.P. Chekhov).

Teaches at RATI-GITIS.

Winner of the Grand Prix of the Prague Quadrennial. Laureate of the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper award, the Golden Mask and Crystal Turandot awards, the Breakthrough Theatre Award (St. Petersburg), and the Oleg Yankovsky Creative Breakthrough Award (Cherry Forest Festival, 2017).
